Potrero de los Funes has a microclimate, which is one of the weirdest wonders in the world.

Engineer Juan Kinsman Molinari has made some researches and studies showing that Potrero has an unique climatic biology on Earth.

This is sedative, it produces a psychomental placidity which is excellent for resting and its aero ionization has improvements for the respiratory, cardiovascular and nervous systems; these are just a few of its benefits.

The town was founded in 1790 and its just 18 km from capitol. Potrero is walled in by 2.150 mt  hills , which seems a natural theater with lakes and rivers.

The lake seawall was built in 1860, then it was rebuilt in 1876 and it was replaced in 1927, becoming in the eldest one of the country.
